Working Foreman

We require a Working Foreman to join our team, working on a wide range of projects with contract values circa £50k - £1 million, primarily in the Penrith, Carlisle and Keswick areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise a construction team to ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard
  • Work closely with Contract Management to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
  • Manage tradespeople and subcontractors to maintain quality, compliance, and delivery of labour targets
  • Participate in construction tasks as needed to support the team
  • Attend client meetings, address queries, and develop ongoing project plans
  • Order site materials and manage site resources effectively
  • Complete and maintain Health & Safety paperwork, ensuring site team adherence

The ideal candidate will have proven experience and competence within construction, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to lead, manage and motivate staff and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard, to target, and on time. Commitment to maintaining health and safety compliance on-site is essential.

A full, clean driving licence is preferable.

This is a permanent, long-term contract with excellent opportunities in our fast-growing family-owned business.

Transport, uniform and PPE will be provided.

40 hours per week.

Pay: £16 - £18 based on experience.

Plumber

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Plumber to join our team!

The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our team, working on a variety of residential and commercial projects generally in the Keswick and Penrith area. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive the highest quality of service and craftsmanship.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified
  • Gas Safe certified (preferable)
  • Skilled in domestic and commercial installations, maintenance and repairs
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality work
  • Full, clean driving licence is advantageous

Transport, uniform and PPE will be provided. 

This is a permanent, long-term contract with excellent opportunities in our fast-growing family-owned business.

Pay: £13 - £17.50 per hour.

40 hours per week. This is a full-time role with long-term and varied work.

Joiner

We are looking for a qualified Joiner to join our team!

Work will include all 1st and 2nd fix tasks. You will work across a range of projects generally in the Penrith and Keswick area, such as:

  • Conversions, renovations, maintenance works, hotel refurbishments
  • Installing roofs, kitchens, flooring etc., in accordance with task targets
  • Completion of daily records such as work certifications and daily diary sheets

The ideal candidate will be experienced, qualified, have a passion for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

A full, clean driving licence is preferable.

Transport, uniform and PPE will be provided. 

This is a permanent, long-term contract with excellent opportunities in our fast-growing family-owned business.

Pay: £13 - £16 per hour.

Electrician

Are you an Electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity in the north of Cumbria?

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to undertake a variety of electrical tasks and projects, such as 1st and 2nd fix tasks, testing, commissioning, and wiring of air source heat pumps.

While experience is preferred, training can be provided for the right candidate.

This is a permanent, long-term contract with excellent opportunities in our fast-growing family-owned business.

We use JIB guide for rates of pay.

Transport, uniform and PPE will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
  • Perform routine inspections
  • Testing and wiring of heating systems and air source heat pumps
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Completion of daily records

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures
  • Inspection and Testing C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification is desired, but not essential.
