We are proud once again to receive a Local Authority Building Control Award for Best Educational Project following the completion of the £3 Million design and build upgrade of the Outward Bound Ullswater Centre.
The awards celebrate achievements in the construction industry, rewarding excellent buildings and outstanding companies, partnerships and individuals that go that extra mile.
It is another significant accolade for the Company and a credit to the project team – Neil McKaskie (Ops Director), Ian Martin (Contract Manager), Stuart Airey (Site Manager) and our skilled tradespeople. We were supported by successful working relationships and collaboration with The Outward Bound Trust and its Patrons, English Heritage Officers, Eden District Council Building Control Officers, Lake District National Park Planners and our appointed Architect, and Structural Designers and specialist sub-contractors.
We are now shortlisted for the LABC Grand Finals which are being held in London this autumn when we go head to head with other Regional Winners.
