Cumbria Chamber of Commerce recently held a Networking Lunch with Neil Hudson MP for Penrith and The Border which took place at Roundthorn Country House Hotel. The event provided opportunity to forge business to business relationships as well as an opportunity for Atkinson’s to present questions to our local MP. Many topics were raised and discussed, including the significant issues faced by the construction/housing industry in relation to Nutrient Neutrality, rising fuel costs and inflation, Levelling Up Fund and the economic infrastructure, employment, industry, health, and housing needs of businesses and people based/living in Cumbria and the ‘Northern Paradox’.
