Great progress is being made at Workington with The Metsec frame installation now complete. We are now progressing with the cavity wall insulation & brick tie channel to allow the external leaf of brickwork and blockwork to progress. The external build up to the ground floor panels has now also been completed.
The roof commenced on Tuesday 29th August and is expected to take 12 -16 weeks to complete, as areas of the roof are installed, we will be covering in and tiling to protect the building from the weather and allow the internal works to progress.
Internally we have started the installation of non-load bearing partitions to the apartments, ceiling grids & cement boarding high level to the corridors. This is to allow the installation of mechanical & electrical service runs which will be starting next week.
