Derwent Bank House is a large country house facing Derwentwater, the house is made up of 38 bedrooms and 38 ensuite shower or bathrooms. We were required to refurbish and decorate 31 bedrooms and 29 ensuites.
Works involved stripping existing wallpaper finishes, removing carpets, furniture and light fittings and replacing finishes, furniture and carpets as well as installing new electric and USB points. Work in the ensuites involved replacing existing sanitary ware, re-tiling walls and covering floors, all to a high standard after an initial asbestos survey and related pre-start works.
